I hope everyone is doing well. Since I'm still in school, I'm having final exams soon and I'm starting to feel the stress. Nail biting is one of the signs. The weather has been strange here, as another cold front has swept through Texas. The northern city of Amarillo is about 35* and here further south in San Antonio it's still 60*! I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever post any photos, as I'm always so busy. I still try to give feedback to submissions here though. Hi! It's been a while and I still haven't posted anything. I'm trying. They have Puxatony Phil up north but he can't compare to Chupacabra Juan in Texas. FYI he also saw his shadow and agrees with Phil. We have six more weeks of winter!!!What winter you say? It's been very warm here.

Well, I hope this entry isn't deleted. I made one a few hours ago and when I attempted to post it it was deleted. Anyway, I wanted to warn anyone that reads this about the satellite that is coming down somewhere. The scientists won't know where until about two hours before it enters the atmosphere! I believe it comes down around Friday. It's about a two ton piece and most of it will break up but even a very small piece coming down at that speed will leave a mark if it hits anything. We have a 1 in 3,200 chance of being hit and I don't like those odds!
I finally decided to get off my butt and start to submit some photos. I mean it's only been a year and I don't have much to show for it. I just have to figure out how to use my little pink camera to download to this site. It might take me another year! HA!
We finally received rain and it was awesome. Texas was frying, with thousands of acres of land and homes burned from fires. The heat was oppressive with 100 + degrees for over 50 days. Not to mention no rain for five months. It is so nice to have cooled down with a cold front that swept the state and dropped the temperature to the 90 degree range. We also received about five inches of rain. You can only strip down so much in public before you get arrested for indecency. Wearing shorts and a top didn't help much. It should be more comfortable now . It seems Texas only has two seasons, summer and spring and maybe a touch of fall.
