Thank you. ❣️
Hi Missy, sorry I missed your birthday, but happy belated birthday!! I hope you had wonderful celebrations.
I miss writing back and forth with you. Let me know if there are other ways we can stay in touch other than dA because I am not very active here anymore.
Hey Missy,
I am thinking of you and yours right now. Texas is in a state of emergency due to winter storms and I hope you all are doing okay!! Get back to me whenever you can. Take care and stay safe.
Hi Erin,
I'm safe thank you for your concern. We were lucky and only had a very low water pressure. We had so much snow and it was so pretty. I haven't forgotten about you. It's the same old thing, too many things going on and still having the same health issues. I will be trying a new med soon. I will write more soon. I hope you and your family are doing well too, you really made my day Erin. I feel like I have cabin fever. Now, after reading your message I feel
Hey again,
Sorry for not replying sooner! I am glad to hear the winter storms weren't too bad for you and your family. How is everything going now? Is the new med helpful?
I have been so busy with school, and I even have to take a summer semester, which is accelerated so it will be a ton of work in a short time!
Today I received my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. I was worried about having an allergic reaction to it since I'm allergic to so many things! Fortunately, I am all good, my arm is just a little sore, which is normal! I get my second dose in three weeks.
Also, I am not sure if I ever told you, but I've had tinnitus in my right ear since 2014, but it has come and gone and was mild. However, for the last month now it has gotten worse and it is almost constant, and it is especially annoying when I am trying to sleep. I called my doctor to see if they can refer me to an ENT specialist to check it out, they'll let me know next week if I qualify to see someone. Got my fingers crossed.
Hi Erin
I didn't realize that it has been a while since I've been on this site. I always get a notification when you post a message but this time I never received anything.
So, to answer your question, the med helps a bit but does not take care of the total problem. My Dr. offered me to join a research study so that is where I'm at. Unfortunately, it's a biologic which takes out my immune system which I've managed to put off so far. I've been tapering off of prednisone and it's kicking my... I guess I've been on it for so long. All the severe pain in my back along with the flu like symptoms are back, thankfully off and on and not 24/7. I'm sure you have your two vaccines now. I do but wonder how protected I am having taken the steroid for so long.
Summer school is hard but it goes by so fast and then you are finished in more way than one!
I can't get over how we have similar med. problems. I had the exact same symptoms but now my right ear has a permanent ring. My left one is starting up too. Going to a ENT was useless. I have my fingers crossed as well as my eyes! They feel crossed at times.. So, tell me how did you do? Any solutions? I hope you don't have to use an ear trumpet! Just kidding.
Have you had a heat wave? I know you live in the desert. For a change we have had cool and a lot of rain which is almost unheard off.
